You're Perfect If You:

• Currently studying UX/UI Design, Graphic Design, or related field
• Have interest in UX design and want to develop these skills in a professional setting
• Have experience with Figma and eagerness to develop proficiency
• Basic understanding of color theory, typography, and common design patterns
• Portfolio showcasing your design work preferred (but we're more interested in your potential!)
• Attention to detail and willingness to develop organizational skills
• Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback
• Curiosity about prototyping and user testing

Bonus but not required:

• Interest in responsive design for digital platforms
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles

Outstanding Intern Professional Development Award

At the conclusion of each internship cohort, one intern will be selected to receive our Outstanding Intern Professional Development Award ($1,000) to support continued professional growth.

How it works: Interns are invited to apply by submitting a brief proposal outlining how they would use the award to advance their professional development—whether through courses, conferences, books, portfolio tools, certifications, or other learning resources.

Selection process: Applications are reviewed by a committee of team members who evaluate proposals based on:

• Quality and clarity of professional development plan
• Performance and growth demonstrated during internship
• Collaboration, initiative, and professionalism
• Portfolio quality and contributions to client projects

This award supports interns as they continue their professional development journey after completing the program. Interns who transition to contractor or employee roles with Opportune are not eligible, as they will already be receiving paid opportunities with our team.
